janet was born in long beach, california, she lived and worked in seal beach, california when she began her studies with a local artist, pat jones, whom she studied with for three and a half years. when janet bought a trailer in baja malibu,B.C, she would go to Mexico every weekend where her inspiration became even more intense. her soul felt such happiness every time she crossed the border into Mexico. at the same time, her education continued for three more years with well-know impressionist, irene borg.

today, janet is living her dreams residing and painting near the ocean. she has lived in baja california for thirty one years, and has been a professional artist for twenty two  of those years. most of her paintings are impressionist landscapes with vivid colors.
